March 12-13, 2019: After dropping off our friend in Christchurch to fly home, we continued onward to explore the north part of the South Island. Wineries, caves, and hikes were the first stops after Christchurch.

Lake Tekapo Area
March 8-11, 2019: after Christchurch, it was on to our next stop on the South Island of New Zealand: Lake Tekapo. Known for some of the amazing hikes nearby, we spent the next few days at Lake Tekapo before heading back to Christchurch.
